Why is the tots class only 1 hour per day?
With this age group, we likely only get appromimately 30 minutes of their attention when it comes to the tennis aspect.
However, Coach Kelly has a creative way of teaching tennis skills that keep the tots engaged and having fun.
Can I drop off my child early to camp?
Yes, children over the age of 6 can be dropped off 20 minutes early.
Coaches arrive early to set up equipment and prepare for the day.
Coaches must be notified ahead of time.
Please do not EVER leave the kids without speaking to an instructor or director.
Are the coaches trained to work with children?
Yes, all of our coaches undergo training as staff and must also complete the Safesport Protocol which is a course-required by the USTA Net Generation program.
Why can't the 6 or 7 year olds do the full-day camp?
In our experience with summer camps in Atlanta, players under the age of 8 tend to get tired and disengage by noon due to the high activity and summer heat.
What if my child really enjoys tennis? Are there any school-year options?
Yes. As part of joining the camp, you will receive information about our school year program at the different locations! NATA is a fully developmental tennis academy.
What should my child bring to camp?
- Tennis racket (if you have one
- Lunch & Snack
- Refillable Water Bottle
